Bachelor's Degree in Education from Tennessee Temple University

I have been teaching for about 16 years.

I taught at-risk youth with the company, Helicon, from 1992-1999.

I substituted in Hamilton County for 2 years in several schools from Kindergarten to High School. It was through that experience that I found my true love to be middle school!

I have also been involved in one-on-one and small group tutoring since 1983.

I have been teaching here at OMS for going on 10 years!

I am a mother of 4 and have been married since 1981. My husband and I have lived in Chattanooga our entire marriage. I am very dedicated to my family.

Originally from Alabama,  I lived in Miami, Florida in my teen years, and moved to chattanooga to go to college at TTU.

Art, music, outdoor fun, and being a part of projects that help others are an important part of who I am.

I love my job and the faculty and staff here at OMS and I have a passion for teaching and reaching students, inspiring them to rise to their best.

I have a desire to empower parents and hope that communication will be strong and open.
